?? Standard Vs MagneticUpBoard ?? In the early 90's we listened to a specific problem that offices were experiencing with names falling out of position. The thin slide rails would begin to bow outward in time and cause slides to drop down onto the next slide, creating 'fallout and mixups'. Solution... We designed the First Magnetic UpBoard to address the problem. Various offices began using the Magnetic Boards with good success. They are still in use today and continue to be custom made by BSC. Magnetic Caution Magnet backed slides cannot be pushed down more than a few at a time and for larger boards this means a slower rearrangement process. Magnetic Boards may not be the solution for offices with more than 20 agents. Only a few names will slide at a time. This style board utilizes a moderately strong magnet attached to the UpBoard Slides. The Magnetic Board below, shows a maximum column capacity of 20. It Looks like the very familiar Standard Board, just a little wider in width and slightly wider slide rails to allow what the eye can't see...a narrower slide rail underneath the main slide rails. The hidden security slide rails have openings at the top, bottom and middle and an extra opening for larger capacity boards. The openings allow the name slides to be moved up to remove and reposition without fear of a mishap caused by bowing outward slide rails. New Safety Standard UpBoard Pricing
1" X 4" UpBoard Slides $8.00 ea. or $12.00 per Pair 1" X 4" Magnetic Slides $9.00 ea. or $14.00 per Pair We also specialize in 1/2" X 4" Slides. This size enables a smaller board for tight spaces or very busy offices with 40 + agents. Pricing is the same as full size boards and slides. Note! The new magnetic designator slide rail feature adds about $35 to the board cost and includes a number of magnetic designators.

In the early 90's the Prudential merge found us losing out to national vendors and our business engraving continued but in a much smaller capacity.
By the mid 90's we were finding that many branch offices neglected their UpBoard updates because of a loss of a reliable vendor.
BSC was contacted by various Realty office managers to come out of semi engraving retirement to once again supply the Island Realtor's with Dependable Customized Engraving Services.
Over the years we continued engraving for Coldwell Banker/Sammis and Century 21 and others. Clients that we truly appreciate.
2003 we are expanding again by using the marketing technology of the Internet.
Our loyalty is to the Long Island Realtors and this webpage is specifically designed in it's simplicity as a portal page to what we do.
Our Customers still call/fax and get personal visits from me.
About every three months we fax individual offices a reminder to update UpBoard needs.

In December 2002 we were so pleased to be of special assistance to Joseph Confora Century 21 Selmar of East Islip
Joe was searching for a 'Flame Award' Trophy to match previous years award style.
I was happy to visit his office, take digital pictures and research the item for a perfect fit.
We found the perfect match and was able to do last minute name plate engraving for last minute awards needed for the soon aproaching Awards Dinner.
It all worked out and I relate this story to give you an idea of what we strive to do.
